Paddy is from Stoneybatter,, John is from Ballyfermot and Roddy hailed from Drimnagh, they were joined later by Johnnie Madden (fiddle). Johnnie is from Carrickmore in Co Tyrone.
Roddy is gone but not forgotten by the members of the band. He was fine musician and a true friend.
Shamróg have played all over the world at various corporate and private events and have the ability to create a party atmosphere anywhere.
Places we have played, Russia, Usa, Hong Kong, Singapore, Canada, Mexico,Keatings Bar Kilbaha, Borneo, Qatar and all over Europe and most of Ireland. We have represented Bord Failte and many private companys in the past and look forward to doing so in the future.
Jamie Duff is a contemporary folk artist from Dublin who projects an energetic light hearted sound. He has given the genre a rustic quality by incorporating more drums and electric guitar to his folk inspired music. Jamie certainly makes his presence felt by creating powerful, original and energetic folk&rock sound

Alan Kavanagh is a singer/songwriter from Ashbourne Co.Meath. He first hit the music scene in September 06 when he appeared on RTE’s ‘You’re a Star’ where he reached the last six in the country and since has gone from strength to strength. His first single ‘Sorry Sincerely’ went straight in at number two this year in the download.ie charts and was recorded in Jealoustown Studio and Alan sold out the 250 seat Ratoath Venue with the launch of his CD and is currently recording his new single with Gavin Ralston. Since the show Alan has been gigging all around the country.

Hairy Badgers: James O’Connor and Peter McMahon from Limerick. Music thoroughly implanted in their roots. They have been playing music from a young age with instruments like guitar,accordion, drums and cajun.
