It’s Party Season!

December is here and the party season has well and truly kicked off!

In the evenings, there’s that familiar Christmas buzz on the streets of Dublin City Centre. A delightful mix of after work shoppers, staff party goers and 12 pubs-enthusiasts trying to remember which pub is next on the list…

Going through the last few weeks of the 2016 calendar in work, counting how many parties you ‘simply cannot miss’ has become a regular occurrence. And for some – trying to organise a last minute party with family, friends or colleagues has crept up out of nowhere! Let us help you out!

At Trinity Bar Venue, we are set up to provide the ideal Christmas Party – a large venue, great drinks offers and finger food menus and we’ll even throw in Santa hats, Christmas crackers, and festive funnies if you’re on the nice list :)

Or maybe a low key affair would be better suited. We have a mouth-watering 3 course Christmas Dinner menu also.

Holidays are coming…

As November flies by, just like the rest of the year as it seems, it is very evident that holidays are coming…in Dublin! The Christmas lights on Grafton Street have been switched on, O’Connell Street’s lights are being switched on tonight and the shops and shopping streets are getting a little busier with the (organised!) gift-getters.

Christmas in Dublin

It’s around this time of the year that the work Christmas parties kick off too – and one unlucky workmate/friend gets the important task of playing organiser. A lot rests on this man/woman’s shoulders! Here at Trinity Bar Venue we want to make this job as hassle-free as can be. We offer an exclusively reserved area for your group, finger food, sweet treats, and everything you need to turn a Bah Humbug into a Ho Ho Ho! We’ll even throw in Santa hats, Christmas crackers, and festive funnies to really get you in the mood! We can cater for any type of party, so book now! We’ve got live music every night of the week, and DJs until late from Thursday to Sunday. Check out our Facebook page where we are giving away a free table and a finger food platter for you and up to 7 friends/colleagues! Christmas truly is the greatest time of the year… Nollaig Shona Duit!

Hallowe’en in Dublin

It is widely believed that the holiday we now know as Hallowe’en originated right here in Ireland, from the ancient pagan Celtic festival of Samhain. Today, All Hallows Eve, or Hallowe’en is a night filled with fun and mischief – kids go trick or treating, everybody parties, and we all dress up!

Dublin has a fantastically haunted history with sightings of ghosts to this day – even in some pubs! The Dublin Bus Ghost Tour is a great way to  brush up on this history and raise all your hairs on end, or you can take a hanuted walking tour if you want something a little bit more active. For the bravest, The Nightmare Realm is a huge haunted house in Ballsbridge that promises to terrify all who enter its doors.

This Hallowe’en night, join in the celebrations in the very centre of Dublin city, right here in Trinity Bar Venue, where we’ll have great live music until late! Come in costume and dance the night away with goblins, ghouls, vampires and werewolves. Coming with a crowd? Book in advance to save your space!

5 Reasons You Should Eat Out Tonight

Don’t slave over a hot stove tonight, let us persuade you to come in and choose from our delicious menu

 Screen Shot 2016-10-17 at 18.14.19

Skip On The Clean Up – You do enough work around the house, and you’ve had a long day! Let someone else clean up for once.

Try Something New – Maybe you make the same things all the time because it’s easy, or you have everything you need to hand… But it’s not very exciting! Eating out gives you the opportunity to try something you’ve always wanted to.

Choose Whatever You Want – Cooking for your family can mean catering to different tastes, and almost inevitably leads to complaints! When everyone can choose off the menu, everyone’s happy!

Spend Quality Time with Family and Friends – Everyday life can get in the way when you’re eating at home… People coming and going, rushing here and there – eating our gives you a chance to really spend quality time in each others’ company.

As The Saying Goes… Treat yo’self! – Because after all, if you won’t… Who will? You deserve it!
